SAMPE UK Annual Seminar

CCP Gransden are presenting at the upcoming SAMPE (Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering) UK Annual Seminar.

Event Title; “Innovative Approaches for Future Polymer Composites”.

CCP Gransden Presentation Title: “Development of a Lightweight Multi-Role Missile (LMM) canister”.

Summary: “The presentation will discuss* CCP Gransden’s completion of the UK’s first ever Defence Technology Exploitation Programme (DTEP) which was achieved in collaboration with Thales. The programme has shown that conversion from a metallic canister to a composite canister will provide numerous advantages over the current design and that next-generation canisters could be promptly developed and manufactured → allowing Thales to improve the existing LMM system and better equip their customers, rapidly”.
